This Horticulture Learnership Programme (NQF Level 2) aims to develop scarce and critical skills while creating employment opportunities for unemployed youth.

✅ Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be unemployed
• Not be enrolled in any institution or registered for another learnership
• Not have completed any post-matric qualification
  (Failure to disclose post-matric qualifications will result in disqualification)
• Have Matric (Grade 12) with:
  • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
  • Life Sciences
  • Minimum Level 3 in ALL required subjects
• Submit a SAQA / NLRD verification report
• Be a South African citizen with a valid SA ID
• Be between 18 and 35 years old

🌿 Primary Duties

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of horticultural sites
• Monitor plant growth and health conditions
• Conduct soil preparation and planting activities
• Maintain tools, equipment, and irrigation systems
• Assist with plant propagation, watering, and fertilising
• Attend theoretical classes as part of the programme
• Complete assignments, assessments, and practical logbooks
