Are you passionate about Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and developing people? Sasol is looking for a dynamic Learning Practitioner SHE to facilitate high-impact Generic SHE training interventions that support operational excellence and promote a powerful culture of ZERO Harm.

This role is based in Secunda, with exciting opportunities to travel across Sub-Saharan Africa to deliver SHE learning interventions to both internal and external stakeholders.


๐ŸŽฏ What Youโ€™ll Do

๐Ÿ“š Learning Facilitation

  • Deliver Generic SHE learning interventions in line with training schedules
  • Travel (sometimes at short notice) across Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Prepare lecture rooms and training aids
  • Facilitate learning in compliance with SHE legislation and standards
  • Conduct post-training assessments and evaluations
  • Ensure use of the latest approved training content

๐Ÿ“ Assessment & Moderation

  • Conduct assessments aligned to legislative frameworks
  • Ensure measurable knowledge transfer
  • Maintain accurate attendance registers and training records
  • Submit documentation timeously

๐Ÿ’ป Technology & Development

  • Use Classroom Performance Systems (CPS)
  • Back up learner assessment records
  • Develop and align a personal development plan
  • Participate in design and development of training material (VACS principle)

๐ŸŽ“ Minimum Requirements

Formal Education

  • Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
  • NQF4 Chemical Operations OR NQF4 Trade Qualification (Mandatory)

Experience (Minimum 6 Years)

  • Petrochemical operations experience as:
    • Production Foreman
    • Senior Process Controller
    • Artisan
      OR
    • Learning Practitioner within petrochemical operations

  • PTW Procedures
  • Incident Management
  • Process Safety Management
  • One Sasol SHE Excellence approach
