About the Role
Fidelity Cash Solutions is looking for a responsible and alert Driver to join their Mthatha branch. The successful candidate will safely transport crew members and custodians while ensuring the secure collection and delivery of clients’ money.
This role plays a key part in maintaining safe and efficient cash-in-transit operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport crew members and custodians during cash collection and delivery operations
- Ensure secure handling and transportation of clients’ money
- Provide accurate proof of collection and delivery
- Report any delays or incidents immediately to the Operations Manager
- Maintain radio communication with controllers
- Conduct vehicle inspections and complete checklists
- Drive responsibly and report any accidents or suspicious activities
- Assist in incident prevention and risk management
Minimum Requirements
✔ Clear criminal record
✔ PSIRA Grade C qualification
✔ Cash in Transit (CIT) Certificate
✔ Firearm competency (minimum handgun for business purposes)
✔ Valid Code C1 driver’s licence with PDP
✔ Physically fit and able to work under pressure
✔ At least 2 years experience in the security industry (advantageous)
