Midas is looking for a reliable and experienced Driver to join their Hoedspruit team. The main goal of this role is to ensure safe, timely deliveries while following all operational procedures.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 3 years delivery driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with PDP (Essential)
- Strong time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Honest, reliable, and high integrity
- Sober habits
- Clear criminal record
📦 Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle inspections before departure and after return
- Report vehicle faults immediately
- Verify parcels with supervisor before loading
- Deliver goods according to route schedule and trip sheet
- Ensure correct Proof of Delivery (POD) procedures
- Return all completed documents and trip sheets
- Take responsibility for missing or incomplete PODs
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report issues
- Communicate delivery challenges to dispatch supervisor
