📚 What You’ll Be Doing
As a learner, you will:
- Attend structured theoretical training sessions
- Complete assessments, assignments, and a Portfolio of Evidence (PoE)
- Gain practical retail experience, including:
- Assisting customers and providing great service
- Merchandising and restocking shelves
- Supporting point-of-sale (POS) operations
- Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping
- Follow company procedures and safety standards
- Keep accurate logbook records of your learning progress
- Work closely with mentors and supervisors
✅ Minimum Requirements
To qualify, you must:
- Be unemployed and eligible for a W&RSETA learnership
- Have Grade 12 (Matric)
- Possess basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Be a South African citizen
- Have a clear criminal record
- Be willing to work retail hours (including weekends & public holidays)
- Not have previously completed an unemployed learnership
