🔧 About the Role
Booysendal Platinum Mine is looking for an experienced LHD Driver (B3) to join their Booysendal South Mining Department. The operation uses trackless mechanised mining equipment in a board and pillar mining layout within the renowned Bushveld Complex.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10
- Competent B Certificate of Competency
- LHD Driver Certificate of Competency
- 2–3 years’ experience in underground trackless mining
- Proven experience as an LHD Driver (advantageous)
- Valid Underground Medical Certificate of Fitness
- Knowledge of mining health & safety standards and procedures
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Maintain safe and efficient underground working conditions
- Operate LHD equipment for loading and tipping ore
- Follow best practices for underground loading operations
- Support shaft optimisation and production targets
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations
