What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Machine Operation

• Set up and monitor machines for optimal performance and product quality.
• Detect and address mechanical issues early to avoid production downtime.
• Report any deviations from food safety or quality standards.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform first-line maintenance and basic fault-finding.
• Assist artisans with machine breakdowns.
• Clean and inspect machinery components as required.

Health & Safety Compliance

• Adhere to ISO 14000, 18000, and 22000 standards.
• Start up/shut down machinery safely following SOPs.
• Conduct regular machine safety inspections.

Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain a clean and food-safe workstation.
• Support team goals and share in responsibilities.
• Take ownership of your development and support others in their learning.
• Communicate proactively and help drive performance.

What You’ll Need:

• Matric/Grade 12
• First-line maintenance training (advantageous)
• 2+ years’ experience in FMCG or mechanical environments
• Familiarity with hand tools and bakery machinery is a plus
• Willingness to work shifts and some weekends
