GROUNDSMAN
Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services
Salary: R138 486 per annum
Location: Victoria Hospital
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Basic literacy and numeracy (must be able to read and write).
- Experience: Relevant experience as a Groundsman.
- Inherent Requirements:
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Must be of sober habits.
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and clean hospital grounds.
- Empty waste bins and rake leaves.
- Prune trees, clean drains and gutters, and remove branches from grounds.
- Water grass and flower beds.
- Assist with moving furniture across departments.
- Maintain flowerbeds, courtyards, and remove domestic/general waste.
