🔍 Minimum Requirements:
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Able to stand for long periods
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Able to follow hygiene protocols and dress according to hospital standards
✅ Key Competencies & Skills:
- Knowledge of food production for both normal and therapeutic diets
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and perform basic calculations
- Familiarity with HACCP, hygiene, and occupational safety practices
- Capable of operating industrial kitchen equipment safely
- Can work independently and under pressure
🛠️ Duties Include:
- Preparing and producing meals for patients (normal and therapeutic diets)
- Weighing, portioning, and distributing food and beverages
- Assisting with receiving and storing food stock
- Maintaining high hygiene standards in all food service areas
- Cleaning workspaces, equipment, and utensils
- Providing informal training to new staff when required
