About the Role
Daisy JHB (Pty) Ltd is seeking a reliable and hands-on Driver / General Worker to join our team in Bryanston. This dynamic role combines driving responsibilities with general maintenance, gardening, and support tasks across our facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, equipment, and documentation.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and ensure cleanliness, servicing, and maintenance schedules are followed.
- Maintain garden areas — including weeding, watering, and basic landscaping.
- Perform light maintenance and repairs to support the upkeep of company facilities.
- Assist with logistics such as moving furniture, setting up events, and unloading deliveries.
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and in line with health and safety standards.
- Adhere to all company driving protocols and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (driving + general work).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Hands-on experience with basic maintenance and gardening.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Skills & Competencies
- Driving and route familiarity (preferably around Johannesburg)
- Groundskeeping & basic landscaping
- Light maintenance (painting, minor repairs, etc.)
- Time management & multitasking
