💼 Job Summary
Rand Water is seeking a reliable and motivated Driver’s Aide to support our Heavy Vehicle Drivers and Construction Plant Operators. The successful candidate will be responsible for vehicle and equipment support, yard maintenance, and general operational assistance across our Central Depot.
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with daily operational tasks
- Load, offload, and secure equipment for transport
- Perform general housekeeping in the yard and on vehicles
- Clean vehicles and assist with equipment readiness
- Support basic rigging, slinging, and tie-down operations
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times
📌 Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or N3 qualification
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
- Basic knowledge of rigging and slinging is advantageous
🧠 Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of load securing techniques
- Basic rigging and slinging principles
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong awareness of safety procedures
