Minimum Requirements

• Trade Certificate in plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
• 1+ years of maintenance experience in the hospitality industry, ideally in a 3- or 4-star property.
• Strong orientation to standards, discipline, and customer service.
• Excellent communication skills in English; IsiZulu proficiency is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, well-organised, and cost-conscious.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and able to work independently or in a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on furniture, cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, and windows.
• Carry out painting and polishing work as needed.
• Inspect and repair electrical systems, including lighting and minor appliances.
• Conduct minor plumbing repairs on pipelines, toilets, and sinks.
• Ensure that maintenance standards are consistently met.
• Exhibit integrity, pride in workmanship, and a collaborative team spirit.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager or General Manager.
