About the Role
Bidvest Prestige, a leading name in facilities management, is seeking a dependable and professional Driver to join our team at our Elandsfontein Distribution Centre. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods and clients, while maintaining our high standards of service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles to transport goods and/or clients safely and efficiently.
- Follow all traffic laws and internal driving protocols.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it’s in optimal working condition.
- Keep accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery notes.
- Assist with loading/unloading goods when required.
- Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs without delay.
- Provide friendly and professional service to clients and colleagues.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or logistics environment.
- Solid knowledge of local routes and road safety regulations.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time well, and stay organized.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or understanding of vehicle upkeep is a plus.
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
