Admin Assistant (Support Services – General Administration ERWM) – ERWM22792

Salary: R260 244 – R356 928 per annum (basic, plus benefits)
Type: Permanent

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • A 1-year post-matric certificate in Administration or a related field
  • At least 1 year of relevant administrative experience
  • Computer literacy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the division
  • Maintain and manage the division’s key register
  • Ensure all newly acquired items are barcoded upon receipt
  • Conduct quarterly spot-checks of assets
  • Gather and report information on lost, damaged, stolen, or redundant items
  • Liaise with the Administration Manager to clarify and resolve administrative processes
  • Report all losses or damages, ensuring insurance claim forms are accurately captured and submitted
  • Apply governance and risk management practices in line with standard operating procedures
  • Perform tasks effectively to avoid financial losses
  • Ensure compliance with Batho Pele service delivery principles
  • Deliver tasks within set deadlines and quality standards
