ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK – REF NO: RECRUIT 2025/425
Asset Forfeiture Unit
Salary: R228 321 per annum (Level 05), excluding benefits
Location: Johannesburg

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, professionally, with accountability and credibility.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Good analytical and document administration skills.
  • Strong time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient administrative support to the office.
  • Maintain an organized administrative system.
  • Handle various administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Liaise with corporate services regarding administrative operations.
  • Manage general office duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, and processing incoming/outgoing documents.

Location: CPP: Butterworth

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven ability to work independently, professionally, with accountability and integrity.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Good interpersonal and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality administrative support to the office.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient office administrative system.
  • Perform a range of administrative tasks to support operational staff.
  • Draft correspondence to other state departments and external organizations.
  • Coordinate with corporate services on matters relating to office administration.
  • Provide finance, logistics, and HR-related support to legal staff.
  • Handle mail delivery, photocopying, faxing, and document dispatch/receipt.
  • Support the SPP and Prosecutors within the cluster, including logistical arrangements.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Request and collect dockets.
  • Gather information for civil cases referred to the unit.
  • Compile and capture statistics and reports for submission to the Chief Prosecutor’s office.
