Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- No prior experience required
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong planning and organizational abilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of administrative processes in legal or government offices
- Understanding of the National Road Traffic Act and the Public Service Act
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as typing, scanning, filing, and emailing
- Provide basic secretariat support for the Gauteng Provincial Regulatory Entity (GPRE) and related units, including meeting logistics
- Manage and maintain attendance registers for the sub-directorate
- Track incoming and outgoing mail
- Handle records management duties
- Provide general administrative support across the unit
- Assist with GPRE administrative functions
- Deliver customer service and post-service client support
