Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
  • No prior experience required

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of administrative processes in legal or government offices
  • Understanding of the National Road Traffic Act and the Public Service Act

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative tasks such as typing, scanning, filing, and emailing
  • Provide basic secretariat support for the Gauteng Provincial Regulatory Entity (GPRE) and related units, including meeting logistics
  • Manage and maintain attendance registers for the sub-directorate
  • Track incoming and outgoing mail
  • Handle records management duties
  • Provide general administrative support across the unit
  • Assist with GPRE administrative functions
  • Deliver customer service and post-service client support
