POST 27/312: ADMINISTRATION CLERK – HRD (Employee Development & Employee Relations)
Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services
Salary: R228 312 per annum
Centre: Karl Bremer Hospital
Requirements:
- Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
- Relevant experience in Training & Development and Labour Relations preferred.
- Good communication and computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word).
- Working knowledge of PERSAL.
- Understanding and application of HR policies.
- Ability to work independently.
Key Duties:
- Implement HR policies and prescripts.
- Provide administrative support in People Development, including assisting with the Workplace Skills Programme, maintaining training databases, and coordinating induction training.
- Provide administrative support in Employee Relations, handling grievances, disciplinary cases, and maintaining relevant databases.
- Compile monthly statistics for Employee Relations and People Development.
- Provide secretariat services to the PD&T Committee and the Institutional Management and Labour Committee (IMLC), including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and logistical arrangements.

Centre: Wesfleur Hospital, Southern Western Sub-structure Office
Requirements:
- Grade 12/Senior Certificate with Mathematics or Accounting as a passed subject.
- Relevant administrative experience.
- Computer literacy and proficiency.
- Knowledge and experience in electronic procurement systems, Logis, and Supply Chain Management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
Key Duties:
- Maintain and update the asset register.
- Procure assets and services in line with legislative requirements.
- Manage asset movements, barcoding, and scanning.
- Conduct interim and annual asset counts, report losses/theft, and manage disposals per SCM policies.
- Provide general administrative support to line managers, including warehousing and payment functions.

- Valid Code EB driver’s licence and Public Driving Permit (PDP).
- Willingness to work overtime/standby when needed.

- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and data management skills.
Key Duties:
- Oversee fleet and logistics operations at Tygerberg Laundry.
- Manage fleet maintenance, administration, and staff performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and reporting requirements.
- Perform driver duties when needed.
- Conduct regular fleet inspections and liaise with stakeholders.
- Assist with budget planning and optimise transport routes.
