About the Role
VAG Spec Centre is seeking a Back Office Admin Support Assistant to join our team in Lanseria. This position is ideal for someone organised, proactive, and customer-focused, who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent client service. You will collaborate closely with senior management and front-line teams, supporting workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to enquiries across multiple communication platforms (email, WhatsApp, social media, etc.)
- Ensure every customer enquiry is attended to promptly
- Prepare and follow up on quotes and approvals
- Support workflow processes in your branch to keep operations efficient
- Conduct post-booking follow-up calls to troubleshoot and confirm customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to deliver a positive service experience
- Identify and escalate potential workflow or service issues
- Provide administrative assistance to management as required
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in admin support (essential)
- Valid driver’s license (essential)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with digital communication tools
- Customer-focused, proactive, and professional approach
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Prior experience in a workshop or panel shop environment will be advantageous
