About the Role
VAG Spec Centre Group is seeking a Back Office Admin Support Assistant to provide essential administrative and customer service support to management and front-line teams. The role is suited for someone organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to enquiries across multiple communication platforms (email, WhatsApp, social media, etc.).
- Ensure all customer queries are attended to promptly.
- Prepare and issue quotes, including follow-ups for approvals.
- Support workflow management in your assigned branch to maintain efficiency.
- Conduct follow-up calls after bookings to troubleshoot and confirm customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams and liaise with customers to ensure seamless service.
- Identify and escalate potential workflow or service bottlenecks.
- Provide administrative assistance to management as required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in administrative support.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency with technology and digital communication tools.
- Experience in a workshop or panel shop environment (advantageous).
- Customer-focused, proactive, and professional with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
