ADMINISTRATION CLERK (DCRS) – REF NO: 2025/73/GP
Centre: Magistrate Office, Westonaria
Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum
(The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.)
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Above-average computer literacy.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve effectively.
- Customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of document management and filing systems.
Duties (Key Performance Areas)
- Conduct daily court recordings.
- Prepare and set up recording equipment, ensuring microphones are functioning properly.
- Report technical malfunctions of recording equipment.
- Record court proceedings accurately.
- Track transcription requests and record time spent in court per case.
- Manage digital recordings of court proceedings and ensure record integrity.
- Capture cases on ECMS/ICMS daily.
- Ensure correct equipment is available for children and persons with disabilities.
- Prepare court records for appeals and reviews.
- Assist with general case flow management.
- Perform additional administrative duties as directed by the Court Manager.
