ADMINISTRATION CLERK (DCRS) – REF NO: 2025/73/GP
Centre: Magistrate Office, Westonaria
Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum
(The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.)

Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Above-average computer literacy.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve effectively.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of document management and filing systems.

Duties (Key Performance Areas)

  • Conduct daily court recordings.
  • Prepare and set up recording equipment, ensuring microphones are functioning properly.
  • Report technical malfunctions of recording equipment.
  • Record court proceedings accurately.
  • Track transcription requests and record time spent in court per case.
  • Manage digital recordings of court proceedings and ensure record integrity.
  • Capture cases on ECMS/ICMS daily.
  • Ensure correct equipment is available for children and persons with disabilities.
  • Prepare court records for appeals and reviews.
  • Assist with general case flow management.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as directed by the Court Manager.
