Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate with Mathematics or Accounting as passed subjects.
- Relevant experience in finance, particularly with knowledge of:
- SAP, PERSAL, PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, and Supply Chain Management (creditors experience will be an added advantage).
- 1–2 years of financial work experience will be advantageous.
- A valid, unexpired driver’s license will be an advantage.
- Computer literacy in MS Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a team environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and record payments, issue receipts, and ensure timely banking of funds.
- Manage petty cash, including issuing and replenishing funds.
- Update the rent register and process deductions on PERSAL.
- File financial documents accurately and maintain organized records.
- Assist with salary-related enquiries and capture overtime, shift allowances, standby, Sunday, and public holiday payments on PERSAL.
- Capture Eskom accounts on SAP and send payment advice to Eskom via email.
