POST 30/91: Senior Financial Administration Clerk: Bookkeeping

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Relevant experience within the Public Service environment.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Public Service Regulations, and other applicable legislation and policies.
  • Computer literacy.

Duties:

  • Capture and administer financial documents and transactions on BAS in line with delegations and approved policies.
  • Administer departmental accounts for cellular phones, USBs, and telephones.
  • Manage claims payable and claims recoverable accounts.
  • Compile reports on financial administration matters to support informed decision-making.

Requirements:

Duties:

  • Implement and maintain Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes related to payments.
  • Address SCM queries to ensure proper application of policies.
  • Process invoices in line with the 30-day payment requirement.
  • Compile reports on invoices processed, payments made, and related statistics.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent qualification).
  • Logis/BAS certificate.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management policy and relevant prescripts.
  • Skills: numeracy, computer literacy, communication, problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills.

Duties:

  • Print and issue purchase orders as per approved requisitions.
  • Place orders with approved suppliers.
  • Attend to queries related to orders and batches.
  • Forward original batches to the transit office and file copies securely.
  • Compile reports on orders processed and returns.
  • Manage and update the asset room list.
