Job Overview
Astrodon is seeking a motivated and experienced Administrative Clerk with a positive attitude to join its office in Brackenhurst, Alberton. The ideal candidate will be well organised, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Requirements and Skills
- Fully computer literate, with strong proficiency in Pastel (essential), Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to quickly learn company-specific, Pastel-based systems
- Property Management experience will be an advantage, with 3–5 years’ relevant experience preferred
- Previous legal or conveyancing experience will be advantageous
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Experience with debtors’ administration, including issuing clearance figures and certificates, and basic accounting tasks such as municipal reconciliations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with tact and diplomacy
- Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective time management skills to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to contribute positively within a team environment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support
- Perform debtors’ administration and related accounting functions
- Assist with issuing clearance figures and certificates
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Deliver professional and efficient service to clients and stakeholders
