Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate (no prior experience required)
  • Knowledge of GPG and DID policies, procedures, relevant legislation, and Public Service Regulations

Skills & Competencies:

  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Report writing and research abilities
  • Computer literacy (advantageous)

Key Duties

  • Record, capture, organise, store, and retrieve correspondence and data
  • Update registers and maintain statistics
  • Handle routine enquiries
  • Make photocopies, receive and send faxes
  • Distribute documents and packages to relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain filing systems within the component
  • Draft and type letters or other correspondence as required
  • Keep registers for incoming and outgoing documents
