Administrative Clerk: Transport Management (X2 Posts)

Salary: R228 321 per annum (Level 05)
Centres:

  • Sekhukhune District – Ref No: DSD/2025/202 (X1 Post)
  • Capricorn District – Ref No: DSD/2025/203 (X1 Post)

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification at NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent as recognised by SAQA.
  • A valid driver’s licence (not required for persons with disabilities).

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic understanding of supply chain management functions, data capturing, computer operation, and statistics collection.
  • Knowledge of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong planning, organising, policy interpretation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in conflict management, customer care, and report writing.

Duties:

  • Allocate departmental vehicles daily.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Monitor and maintain the usage and control registers.
  • Oversee and ensure the cleanliness of vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date transport documentation and records.
