Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Computer literacy.
Core Competencies:
- Knowledge of clerical duties, administrative practices, and data capturing.
- Understanding of office administration systems, including filing and record management.
- Familiarity with procedures for receiving, responding to, and managing enquiries.
- Good telephone etiquette and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
- Understanding of workplace procedures and processes.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and language skills.
- Ability to adapt and work flexibly within a team environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support services.
- Record, organize, capture, and retrieve correspondence and data.
- Maintain registers for incoming and outgoing documents.
- Handle routine enquiries and assist with general office tasks.
- Make photocopies, distribute documents, and manage filing systems.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement.
- Obtain quotations, complete procurement forms, and handle purchases of office supplies.
- Maintain stock control of office stationery.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements.
