Requirements:
A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. The ideal candidate should possess strong report-writing abilities, good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as sound general office administration and organizational abilities. Basic numeracy and computer literacy are essential.
Duties:
Provide administrative support to ensure the effective management of workflow within the component. Assist in the coordination and administration of office functions. Communicate with relevant stakeholders to obtain outstanding information and address issues. Coordinate meetings, compile minutes, and manage deadlines for correspondence. Handle visitor arrangements and prepare necessary documentation for meetings, presentations, and reports. Administer office correspondence and maintain filing systems. Coordinate office activities, workshops, and keep proper records. Draft and type correspondence and official documents. Manage communication and information flow within the office. Arrange travel and accommodation. Process documents related to claims, payments, and invoices. Verify budget breakdowns captured on BAS, capture requests on LOGIS, and confirm the availability of funds. Track and monitor payments for services rendered to the unit. Ensure efficient coordination of office activities and meetings.
