Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support within an educational environment
- Processing and maintaining learner applications, acceptances, and records (including data capturing and manual filing)
- Assisting the Examinations Officer with exam administration
- Performing general administrative duties as required
- Managing reception duties and operating the switchboard
- Typing academic and administrative documents
- Supporting PencilBox administration
- Managing school reports and newsletters
- Acting as a liaison for marketing-related activities
- Assisting with learner enrolment processes
- Maintaining management diaries and scheduling appointments
- Assisting with event planning and coordination
- Carrying out ad hoc duties aligned with the role
Required Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent typing, organisational, and administrative abilities
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and creative approach
- Strong teamwork skills
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and PencilBox
Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent (minimum requirement)
- Proven typing skills
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) is essential
- Secretarial qualification will be advantageous
Experience
- At least 2 years’ general administrative experience in a similar environment
