Our Vodacom 2.0 concept store offers a world-class customer experience, and we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and energetic Retail Administrator to support operations and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Store Readiness & Operations

  • Ensure all staff tools, computers, and devices are functional daily
  • Manage stationery, cleanliness, and store presentation
  • Oversee daily rosters, waste management, and readiness checks
  • Participate in daily power meetings to align and energize staff

Back Office & Administration

  • Maintain smooth communication between back office and sales floor
  • Issue devices and SIM stock efficiently to sales staff
  • Process contracts, upgrades, insurance claims, and ensure compliance with Vodacom business rules
  • Reconcile daily paperwork with till receipts and system entries (MII, C3D, VPP)
  • Perform daily customer care and follow-up calls for activations, pending paperwork, or escalations
  • Capture all sales, prepaid claims, migrations, value-added services, and client follow-ups
  • Manage filing, sales reports, and customer complaint resolutions

Repairs & Stock Control

  • Process device repairs, OBFs, and manage customer loan devices
  • Conduct daily follow-ups with repair centres and customers
  • Assist with stock checks, merchandising, and aged stock management
  • Provide updated stock-on-hand reports to the team

HR & Staff Support

  • Assist Store Manager with time management, staff registers, and leave applications
  • Manage staff uniforms and create fair tea/lunch rosters
  • Support biometric clocking via Trac Tech

Sales Support

  • Assist sales staff with upgrade eligibility calls and insurance offers
  • Quote customers on connectivity options
  • Support the sales floor when required

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ administration experience in a Vodacom Retail Store
  • Proficiency in Vodacom systems (MII, C3D, Skyline, VPP)
  • Strong Excel skills (filtering, sorting, reporting)
  • Excellent face-to-face customer service skills (retail environment)
  • Ability to work shifts (retail mall hours)
    • Shift 1: 08:00 – 17:00
    • Shift 2: 11:30 – 19:45
      (Trading hours: Mon–Thu until 19:30, Fri–Sat until 20:00, Sun & Public Holidays until 18:00)
  • Code 08/10 driver’s license with own vehicle (advantage)
  • Relevant certificate/qualification (preferred)
