Afrimat Construction Materials (CM) Gauteng invites suitably qualified and motivated individuals to apply for the Diesel Mechanic Learner opportunity. This learnership offers hands-on workplace experience combined with structured technical training, aimed at developing skilled Diesel Mechanics within the mining and construction environment.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum N3 Diesel Mechanic Certificate
- Applicant must be a resident of Midvaal Municipality
- Must be medically fit in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and company medical fitness standards

Duties and Learning Outcomes
Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training under the supervision of qualified professionals and will gain exposure to:
- Diesel engine maintenance and repairs
- Inspection, servicing, and fault-finding on heavy machinery
- Safe work practices in line with mining regulations
- Workshop procedures and equipment handling
