Introduction

The purpose of this role is to deliver a cost-effective operational service to all departments by upholding Woolworths’ operations standards. This includes maintaining a safe and hygienic store environment to ensure excellent customer care and efficient utilisation of staff, equipment, and stock in line with defined performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove unused equipment from the sales floor to ensure readiness for trade.
• Receive and dispatch stock in line with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic store environment at all times.
• Conduct regular checks in high-risk areas (e.g. fitting rooms, lockers).
• Liaise with external contractors to ensure service standards are consistently met (e.g. refrigeration engineers).

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF qualification.
• Prior experience in the Retail or FMCG sector will be an advantage.
• Knowledge and understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHASA) policies and procedures
