Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 / National Certificate
• Mathematics and Physical Science as subjects (essential)
• Automotive-related subjects will be highly advantageous
• A strong interest in motor vehicles and technical work

• Strong verbal communication skills (training is primarily conducted in English)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As an Automotive Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced technicians while developing your technical skills and industry knowledge. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Learning and applying correct workshop procedures and safety standards
• Accurately clocking time spent on all assigned jobs
• Understanding and following Repair Order Instructions before commencing work
• Learning how to plan tasks effectively and identify required parts for repairs
• Supporting workshop efficiency through teamwork and attention to detail
• Attending all prescribed technical training sessions and assessments
• Continuously improving technical knowledge and practical skills
