This role is ideal for someone looking to kickstart a long-term technical career in the motor industry. Successful candidates will receive structured training and hands-on experience, working alongside qualified technicians toward becoming a Red Seal–accredited Technician.

✅ Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / National Certificate
• Mathematics and Physical Science (essential)
• Automotive-related subjects (advantageous)
• Strong interest in motor vehicles and mechanical systems
• Young, energetic, and eager to learn
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure
• Clear verbal communication skills (training conducted mainly in English)
• Must reside in Bredasdorp or surrounding areas

🛠️ Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians with vehicle servicing and repairs
• Learn and apply correct job time clocking procedures
• Understand and follow Repair Order Instructions before starting work
• Develop job planning skills, including identifying and ordering required parts
• Attend all prescribed technical and apprenticeship training sessions
