About the Role


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Kia South Africa (Pty) Ltd in the Northern Suburbs. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing financial transactions accurately and timeously and preparing financial reports in line with standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Accurate and timely invoicing and collection of debtors.

Processing creditor invoices and capturing payments promptly.

Recording cashbook transactions and performing bank reconciliations.

Managing and reconciling petty cash.

Completing month-end processes within deadlines.

Ensuring adherence to financial governance, compliance, and internal control standards.

Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records.

Escalating reconciliation issues and unresolved financial discrepancies.

Reporting financial information accurately and on time.

Supporting knowledge transfer through ad hoc training and support initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Matric with Accounting and Mathematics.
  • Diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping or a related qualification.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience within the automotive dealership environment.
