🚦 About the Role

The Transport & Fleet Management Department is looking for responsible and professional Bus Drivers to operate municipal buses safely and efficiently across approved routes.

✅ Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10
• Valid Code C, EC or EC1 (04) driver’s licence with PrDP
• At least 1 year experience as a bus or truck driver
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Drive council buses on designated routes
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects
• Ensure passengers pay correct fares and ticketing systems work
• Complete trip journals and submit after each shift
• Assist passengers with route, fares, and ticket queries
• Report incidents, accidents, and route issues
• Maintain order and provide courteous customer service
