Remuneration
- Salary Scale: R254 808 – R353 892 per annum
- Estimated Total Package: R357 290 – R483 405 per annum
Job Purpose
To safely and efficiently transport passengers and commuters using the City of Tshwane’s public transport infrastructure, ensuring compliance with all operational, safety, and legal requirements.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 qualification
- Relevant driving experience with heavy motor vehicles
- Valid Code C, C1(04), EC or EC1(04) driving licence
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
- No criminal record
- Physically fit and in good health
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime
- Must undergo a criminal record check and allow fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department (at own cost)

Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers along designated routes
- Ensure compliance with scheduled routes and operational instructions
- Manage the Automated Fare Collection (AFC) system, ensuring passengers tap in and out
- Perform special duty assignments when required
- Adhere strictly to traffic rules and regulations
- Apply sound knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act, 1996 (Act 93 of 1996)
- Ensure passenger safety and service excellence at all times
