Paracon is on the lookout for a POS & Business Systems Support Specialist who can ensure seamless business operations across Windows, Linux, Cloud, and On-Prem environments.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, incident management, and application stability. You’ll play a key part in keeping mission-critical business and POS applications running smoothly 24/7.

🔧 What You’ll Do

Monitor, investigate, and resolve application issues across multiple platforms.

Deliver 24/7 support (including shifts) for transactional business systems.

Carry out upgrades, deployments, and routine maintenance with minimal disruption.

Work directly with users and clients to ensure smooth incident resolution.

Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and document permanent fixes.

🎓 What You’ll Need

Diploma or Degree in IT (or equivalent qualification).

2–5 years’ hands-on experience supporting business or POS applications in production.

💻 Technical Skills

Strong SQL querying and log analysis abilities.

Incident, change, and problem management knowledge.

Scripting experience (Batch/Linux).

Windows/Linux administration & exposure to AWS/Oracle Cloud.

Advantageous: Familiarity with NCR POS or AS@R software.

MS Office proficiency (Excel & PowerPoint).
