Role Overview
Fidelity Cash Solutions (FCS) is seeking a qualified CIT Driver for our Durban Branch, reporting to the Operations Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely transport crew members and custodians while collecting and delivering client funds, ensuring all proof of collection and delivery is maintained.
Minimum Requirements
- Clear criminal record
- PSIRA accreditation (minimum Grade C)
- Cash-in-Transit (CIT) Certificate
- Firearm competency: Handgun (for business purposes)
- Valid Code C1 driver’s licence with PDP
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the security industry or a similar role (advantageous at FSG)
- Physically fit and able to work under pressure
Key Responsibilities
- Take full accountability for collecting and delivering clients’ cash securely
- Report delays or incidents immediately to the Operations Manager
- Maintain constant radio communication with controllers
- Identify and respond to suspicious activity proactively
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete audit checklists
- Ensure responsible vehicle handling and document all incidents or accidents
