Job Overview
AFMS Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a corporate office environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming workspace for staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, canteens, pause areas, ablutions, internal windows, and shared spaces
  • Dust, sanitise, and disinfect surfaces and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors in line with safety and cleanliness requirements
  • Empty refuse bins and dispose of waste correctly
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor
  • Follow approved cleaning procedures, schedules, and checklists
  • Comply with all health, safety, and company policies at all times
  • Assist with ad hoc and special cleaning tasks as requested by management
  • Attend training sessions to improve cleaning skills and knowledge of equipment
  • Provide feedback to help improve cleaning standards and service delivery
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues, office staff, and clients

Please note: Duties may change from time to time to meet operational requirements, and procedures may be updated by management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
  • Previous cleaning experience in a corporate or commercial setting
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene practices and safe handling of cleaning materials
  • Understanding of cleaning products, tools, and safety precautions
  • Familiarity with facility layouts to ensure efficient cleaning
