Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our school facilities. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Empty and clean waste bins.
• Clean desks, chairs, skirting boards, and walls.
• Vacuum carpets, wash and mop floors.
• Sweep uncarpeted areas.
• Spot-clean spillages.
• Clean and restock toilet facilities.
• Clean windows, doors, and door handles.
• Maintain reception area cleanliness, including couches, tables, and magazines.
• Set up crockery and refreshments for events or meetings.
• Tidy and clean after meetings/events.
• Report maintenance or stock needs to management.
• Be available for occasional weekend or after-hours work.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of health & safety regulations related to cleaning.
• Understanding of cleaning best practices.
• Good physical fitness.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic reading skills for instructions.
• Basic maths skills for measuring cleaning materials.
