POST 31/29: Cleaner (Ref No: WCCETC/SS/2025/03)
Position Type: Permanent
Salary: R138 486 per annum (Level 02)
Location: Western Cape CET College, Central Office – Bellville

Requirements:

• Minimum educational qualification: Grade 10 with basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Previous experience in a cleaning environment will be an advantage.

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):

• Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment, materials, and detergents.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean offices, boardrooms, kitchens, and restrooms.
• Perform dusting, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, and window/wall cleaning.
• Empty bins and remove waste.
• Maintain and keep stock of cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Ensure safe use and storage of cleaning materials.
• Assist with arranging and serving refreshments during meetings.
