About Our School

Reddford House Blue Hills, located in Blue Hills, Kyalami (Midrand), is a premium private school offering a balanced and holistic learning experience through the IEB curriculum. Role Overview

The Cleaner will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional school environment. The successful candidate will be expected to uphold the values and ethos of the school while contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop various floor surfaces.
• Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and other areas across the campus.
• Dust ceilings, light fixtures, counters, and furniture.
• Scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks, and kitchen areas.
• Empty bins, wash, and clean windows.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and report needs to the line manager.
• Report breakages and maintenance issues.
• Assist with campus functions and events as required.
• Complete cleaning duties according to the Holiday Cleaning Duty List.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries with staff, students, and parents.
• Legal right to work in South Africa.
