Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10 or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic literacy and numeracy (must be able to read and write).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the Batho Pele principles.
• Understanding of cleaning materials, equipment, and their usage.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery and tools.
• Able to work well in a team and under pressure.
• Customer service-oriented with a focus on responsiveness.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
• Demonstrates punctuality, commitment, good conduct, and a strong work ethic.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and workplace procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean offices, storerooms, hallways, elevators, and meeting rooms.
• Dust surfaces, dispose of waste, and provide water during meetings.
• Refill aqua coolers.
• Wash windows and walls.
• Clean kitchen utensils, equipment, and general areas.
• Scrub toilets, polish floors, and vacuum using appropriate equipment.
• Restock toilet paper and other supplies in restrooms.
• Properly store and maintain cleaning tools and materials.
