Requirements

• Grade 10 or ABET Level 4 qualification
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and maintenance procedures
• Understanding of safety standards related to cleaning duties
• Familiarity with basic hand tools
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read instructions and safety notices

Key Competencies

• Strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours when required
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of repetitive tasks and maintaining consistency
• Knowledge of hygiene standards, facility management policies, and relevant legislation and procedures

Duties

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment
• Follow proper cleaning schedules and safety guidelines
• Use cleaning materials and equipment responsibly
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
• Assist with other related duties as required
