TVET Workplace Experience Internship (Business & Marketing) – Rustenburg

Job Description:
This is a structured programme designed to offer students the opportunity to rotate within a department, providing all the necessary support to acquire practical workplace experience in their field of study.

Job Objectives:

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by being visible, knowledgeable, and customer-focused.
  • Increase customer loyalty by promoting makeovers and skin consultations in-store.
  • Achieve Body Shop sales goals by engaging with customers and providing personalized customer service.
  • Monitor and improve stock availability by following stock management processes, including weekly counts and addressing low stock levels.
  • Maintain high store standards through daily housekeeping and effective merchandising.
  • Prevent shrinkage and loss by being accurate, honest, and vigilant in all job duties.
  • Assist with in-store training and coaching related to makeup and skincare by sharing information on techniques, trends, and diagnostic tools.

Education and Experience:

  • Matric/Grade 12 (Essential)
  • N6 in Make-up and/or Skincare (Beauty), Cosmetology, Business Management, or Marketing Management (Essential)
  • Unemployed TVET Graduates requiring 18 months of in-service training (Essential)
  • Desirable: Experience in a customer-facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment.

Job-Related Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic Computer Literacy
  • Understanding of retail industry principles
  • Selling skills and customer interaction
  • Stock Management principles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
