Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12/Senior Certificate.
- Knowledge of:
- Unemployment Insurance Act and Regulations.
- Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act.
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
- Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Treasury Regulations and Batho Pele Principles.
- Department of Employment and Labour (DoEL) and UIF policies, procedures, mission, and values.
- Customer care principles and departmental guidelines.
- Skills:
- Strong communication (verbal and written).
- Interviewing and interpretation of the Unemployment Insurance and Contributions Acts.
- Computer literacy.
- Conflict management and time management.
- Analytical thinking, interpersonal skills, and customer service.
- Telephone etiquette and attention to detail.
- On-the-job training in operational systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide screening and advisory services to clients.
- Process applications for Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) benefits.
- Register payment continuation forms.
- Perform various administrative and support functions related to UIF processes.
