Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Valid Code 8 Driver’s License with Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- 2–5 years’ driving experience in a Logistics/Distribution/Supply Chain environment
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods accurately and on time to designated stores/customers
- Follow warehouse/store loading and unloading procedures
- Check and offload all Transport Units (TUs) per manifest
- Collect and verify returns/inter-branch transfers and return them to Dispatch
- Manage returnables like pallets, totes, and recyclables
- Present correct trip sheets (DLS) to store management
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report issues promptly
- Represent Dis-Chem professionally and adhere to the uniform policy
