Role Overview
As a Courier at Ampath, you play a crucial role in connecting our laboratories with the communities we serve. You will be responsible for the secure and timely transportation of medical specimens, reports, and parcels, using either a vehicle or a motorbike. Your dedication and reliability contribute directly to the delivery of accurate, life-changing diagnostic services. This position forms part of a high-performance environment where your work supports both patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport medical specimens, reports, and parcels
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and confidentiality standards
  • Maintain punctual deliveries to support timely diagnostic outcomes
  • Represent Ampath professionally in all interactions

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 qualification
  • Valid South African driver’s licence (Code B)
  • Minimum of one year’s general driving experience
  • Strong understanding of road safety and time management

Skills and Competencies

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • High level of reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail
