About the Role
MCE Electric is looking for a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our outbound logistics team. In this role, you will represent the company by ensuring goods are delivered accurately, safely, and on schedule to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Time Deliveries: Transport goods to customers according to planned routes and delivery schedules.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and professional service, responding to customer questions or concerns.
- Vehicle Care: Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance to keep the delivery vehicle in optimal condition.
- Documentation: Complete all delivery-related paperwork and electronic records accurately.
- Safety: Adhere to all road, traffic, and safety regulations during deliveries.
- Loading & Unloading: Assist with moving goods in and out of the vehicle, ensuring careful handling of items.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with stock control and warehouse teams to support daily operations.

- Strong time management skills to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Clear and professional communication abilities.
- Effective problem-solving when facing delivery challenges or customer issues.
- Competence in using GPS and navigation tools for route planning.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.

- Adaptability to changing routes, schedules, and weather conditions.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Awareness of road risks and ability to take preventive safety measures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Valid PDP.
- At least 2 years of delivery driving experience.
