Position Overview

Eastern Personnel Consultants is seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver based in the Johannesburg CBD.

Minimum Requirements

• South African citizen with a clear criminal record.
• Valid Code driver’s licence (all verifications will be conducted on shortlisted candidates).
• Demonstrated experience as a delivery driver with traceable references.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and use GPS navigation.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.

Employment Details

• Type: Permanent, full-time
• Basic Salary: R8 041 (non-negotiable)
• Benefits: Provident Fund and December bonus
• Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
  • Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver parcels to assigned destinations, including branch transfers.
• Confirm addresses and delivery locations before departure to avoid errors.
• Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Secure parcels to prevent damage during transport.
• Obtain recipient signatures as proof of delivery.
• Collect payments when required and confirm correct amounts.
• Keep accurate records of all delivered packages.
